We're staying at the Outrigger Reef on Waikiki beach, with a water front
balcony <weg>.... While we're certainly going to explore the commercial
side, I would love to spend some time on the Northern side, the nature
side. I want to focus on the parks and gardens and the volcanos :). We
reserved a 14 mile hike to the tip of "the" volcano (name escapes me now
as I don't have the borchure or book with me). This tour is going to
hike through rainforests and will take an entire day. Interestingly,
when we were reserving the hiking trip the agent felt that he needs to
warn us that we are not to pick the "wild growing" cannabis that we'll
see all over the place while hiking. I found that odd, but
okay...apparently the mainland folks are all potheads or something. Very
odd!
