RE: RE: hawaii

We had a great time- weather was wonderful.  Stayed a few days in a rental
in Lanikai, and then at the New Otani Kaimana Beach hotel (east of Waikiki).
Both were wonderful in their own ways.  Go to some of the arboretums and
botanical gardens.  Also loved snorkling in Hanauma Bay.  My husband had a
great scuba trip with Oahu Dive Center- he saw sea turtles.  Dinner at
L'Uraku was the best meal we had, but many great places to eat.  Fun just to
drive around the coast and stop at the beach parks and wade, play and
lounge.  Waikiki is too busy- stay elsewhere if you can.  The hotel we
stayed in was separated from the crowd by a large park- that was nice. Saw
the pineapple field in central Oahu- really interesting.  If you are flying
on Hawaiian Airline- bring food with you- their food is awful.  Everyone was
really friendly that we met and the service was impecable.  Humm- what else
would you like to know about?
