Re: birds and other critters

they have chipmunks in the west, marge. throughout the sierra. first ones i ever saw were at grand canyon. but like much of the wildlife in the west, you won't find them in the burbs--although i did see a badger sauntering down the road once not far from where david lives.

know where they stop, but think somewhere as the midwest hits the
great plains.  Think you get pocket gophers - not a really great
