Re: birds and other critters now NE PA

I'm running a little short of fortitude right now. I've been snowed in since
Sunday, and have left a couple of messages for the man who plows my
driveway. I have hesitated to try shoveling it myself because it's over 100'
and the stuff is 2 feet deep, and I have a bad back, yada, yada, yada.

The lowest temp I've seen in the five years I've been here was -7, but wind
chills make it maybe -30 sometimes. I'm bummed out; I can't get to my
feeders and the birds aren't finding the sunflower seeds I scattered on the
snow on the deck. Rabbits and squirrels, red and gray, are having a field
day, though, and it makes for very good cat TV.
