Yeah--midsummer would work for me for the same reasons...and how about
St. Louis?? The Missouri Botanical Garden is beautiful and they have
some amazing Victorian era botanical walking parks, plus for a larger
metro. area the costs are reasonable...Just a suggestion, not one I'd be
offended over if others have a better idea. :-)

Wouldn't that be grand!  I'd vote for mid-summer after the spring rush
is over in our gardens or early fall before the pre-winter plant/cleanup
time.
