Then we could proceed southwest to the Shaw Nature Center (used to be
Shaw Arboretum) -- part of the Missouri Botanic Garden, and the real
place to go for Midwest natives! After that, on to the wineries!

Yeah--midsummer would work for me for the same reasons...and how about
St. Louis?? The Missouri Botanical Garden is beautiful and they have
some amazing Victorian era botanical walking parks, plus for a larger

be
offended over if others have a better idea. :-)

Wouldn't that be grand! I'd vote for mid-summer after the spring rush
is over in our gardens or early fall before the pre-winter
plant/cleanup
time.

Wondering, how many from this list would actually like to get together
for a weekend/ day? Pam and I were discussing this last night, if we
found a centrally located area, how many would come and what time of
year would be best?

Well that's very sweet not to mention tempting. Rest assured it will
not be in winter however - gets too cold up there for a hothouse
flower like me! LOL
