Then we could proceed southwest to the Shaw Nature Center (used to be Shaw Arboretum) -- part of the Missouri Botanic Garden, and the real place to go for Midwest natives! After that, on to the wineries!

Wouldn't that be grand! I'd vote for mid-summer after the spring rush
is over in our gardens or early fall before the pre-winter plant/cleanup
