I serve up a blend for my boys. 40% premium FUS prevention like Purina
One low Mag for Urinary Tract Protection or Friskies Special Diet -also
low Mag; 20% Dental Diet, and 40% Fun food like Chef's Blend.
When Orangecat got FUS, I switched to all low mag food. But at the time
it was only available via the vet, so high $. Eventually I tried mixing
in other foods, becuase he disliked that food so much. He was fine with
a 50-50 blend. When he died (from something else!), I switched back to
regular food but then Jack got FUS. But by then there were low mag -
safe for urinary tract - foods in the grocery stores. They've all been
fine since going back on a blend.
It appears that Purina has bought out Friskies, though, so I bet it's going to be costing me more in the future.

the vet to prevent UTI, I'd go broke if I had to feed that to a mob...

If you have weeds, you don't have enough plants.
