spam

i get about 30 spam messages a day. so i bought mcafee's "spamkiller" program. haven't installed it yet; probably will later tonight.

do any of you have experience with it or any similar programs? if so, are they worth the time and effort to install and set up? [no point in getting into something that is more trouble to maintain than keeping a cat.]

while i'm at it, on a similar topic, does anyone use one of those "pop-up" blockers? nothing quite torques me the way all those damn ads crowd memory when i'm trying to find something on the internet.

and, finally, does anyone remember the monty python thing with the other kind of spam [spam and eggs; spam, eggs and spam; spam, spam, eggs and spam--and so on].
