Re: Roots & Rhizomes

Pam,
R&R is owned by Jung, sort of their upscale offering. I purchased from them
a couple of times years ago but wasn't particularly happy with their
bareroot plants. They were small and I had trouble with bareroot because
our springs are so wet here that the plants would rot before they could get
going. (I'm sure THAT wouldn't be a problem for you.) I've since learned to
pot up my barerrot plants and keep them either under eaves or in Florida
room until they get going. As I said, I thought their starts were too small
for the money, but perhaps they are bigger now. I also notice in this
year's catalogue that some plants areoffered in small pots. The only plant
I have from them that survived is Pulmonaria 'David Ward' which has spread
nicely and is very pretty when I keep the slugs off it.

Kitty
