Yeh..I was the later bloomer....it hit me around 35...like my eyes opened for the first time and I really saw things they way they WERE, not what I thought they were. And I will forever picture myself at the ages between 35 and 40....I'm with you Jim, I look at the fine lines and gray hair starting to come in and think, "hmm, funny. I don't FEEL older inside?" I mean, I still sit outside and blow bubbles with my kids...doodle on paper...blow bubbles with my gum.

But Zem sent me this the other day...and I have to say "RIGHT ON!"

Interesting. Turning 30 was a watershed event for me, too. I've heard, however, that 40 is how you will think of yourself for the rest of your life. And I guess I believe that--it's always disconcerting to see myself in the mirror these days. Takes a moment before I realize it's me.
