Jim,
I have both Ludesia discolor and Goodyera pubescens. They are 3 years old
and neither has flowered. Can you post a picture of yours so I can see what
I'm missing?

The short one just pointed out that one of our ground orchids
[Anoectochilus species], AKA jewel orchid, is sending up bloom spikes.
It's in the front patio but back under the eaves of the house, somewhat
protected from both summer sun and winter chill. I really like this
orchid; it has dark reddish-purple leaves and tiny white flowers.
Weather her today is cool [in the 50s] and windy; forecast is for rain.
