Pretty much the case this time of year. There are lots of public gardens and they all like to strut their stuff when the winter residents are here. They tend to drop off some after Easter, which is when most of the Canadians and other northerners wander back home.

About 11 PM last night it got here. Then it hung around until about 3:30 PM today. It wasn't shy, either. When I got home, I dumped more than 5 inches of water out of my rain gauge.
That will do us for a month or so, thank you. So now go put your feet up, have a toddy, and keep the weekend nice for the Japanese Festival.
