Re: Gardenwall photos

Theresa,
I had great fun looking at both sets of photos. Here we're still waiting for
some snow to melt. I didn't look at your photos in order; I was drawn more
to the nice curved path entrance at the corner. But then it didn't go
anywhere and I couldn't figure how you got to the front door. Ah! from the
driveway side! This reminded me of when I had my front porch built. I have
no entry sidewalk - you step up on the porch steps directly from the
driveway. The poch is about 15 ft long by 8 deep. If I wanted to go to the
opposite side of the house it was a lonnnnngg way around. So I had a
second, small set of steps leading off the porch in that direction. That
little path you installed will save you many steps and make it easier to
maintain the beds there. It's a shortcut that is only useful to those
living there or visiting, so it won't be abused. Additionally, it breaks up
the line of the stone, shows a creative quality. Shows someone was thinking
when they designed it. Good job!

Kitty
