I second that! Have tried some and have never gotten them to bloom for me, even with the most diligent overwintering.

Specifically, Curcuma rubescens, anyone know anything about it?

Guessing I should have paid closer attention when gingers where being
discussed here, now I found one that is of interest for foliage.... I would
never get any of them to flower here....
