Re: SF show

Oh- I really need to re-up my membership to Cal Hort. I let it lapse as I never read the PacHort magazine and I was constantly wishing I lived in SF, so I could go to their monthly talks and walks etc. I just love their yearly plant sale though. I can't recall now, when they usually have the sale- and I really don't have room for anything else!!! I'm already digging up stuff that I decided I don't absolutely love, so that I can put something else I just have to have in its place. Your hibs are jsut amazing- I checked out your website to see all the new varieties you've got on there. My attention to indoor plants, however, is horrible. I am in the process of rather quickly killing a norfolk pine, I've sworn off ferns indoors entirely, and I finally put the goldfish plant out of its misery and tossed it in the trash. So, pretty much I can keep bromeliad, cast iron plant, philodendrons, ficus, and christmas cactus alive inside. I'm even doing in an aloe plant right now. Poor thing- I'm just too busy to give anything indoors the attention (and occassional water!) that it needs. Now if the plants could meow to remind me.....that words for the cats!

Hey- glad to hear you will be at the show again this year. I need to find out if I can get a day off work to go during the week (its too crazy on weekends). One can never look at nor buy too many plants.
