Hi, Chris.
I've never attended the Great American Gardeners Conference, but it sounds like a good idea. I'll have to check into it and see if Ms Fatma is up for it. We did get to Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival several years ago. It was a good show, but Epcot is always interesting to me.

Jim,
Have you ever attended the Great American Gardeners Conference sponsored by
the American Hort Society in April? It's in Orlando this spring and I'm
considering going as my husband has to be in Orlando for business and we
could travel together. The last day of the conference is at Epcot for the
International Flower and Garden Festival. Have you attended or do you know
if it's worthwhile? I probably would only go to the daytime events and skip
the evening banquets. The whole conference is about "Sub-tropical Garden
Treasures, Old and New". Doesn't really apply to my climate, but I'm sure
that I'd learn something about plants I can use for pot culture or seasonal
interest.
