Every digital camera comes with sometype of photo
editing program.
First thing to do is save them under another name-
Important step just incase you mess up, you will have
the orginial photos to try again :)
Repeat- save the pictures using a different file name!
Check for two things with your renamed file.... how
large is the printed picture- If it is 30X24, you can
resize to 10X8 or even smaller.
Then find the resolution option. For a computer screen
you don't need 300dpi. Printers default to 105dpi or
you can even use the net standard of 72dpi.
Either or both will dramatically change the size of
the files.
