Re: jesse' new found liberty

Sounds like you have knitting covered. If you stock needlepoint, be sure to hook up with someone who does it as a resource for your customers who have questions about that (For example, I'm experienced, but have a devil of a time estimating how much thread I will need for a project.) or want to learn.

Thanks Ceres. Yes, knitting is really hot right now. It's called the "new yoga". And I am never without my knitting. It is soothing and relaxing. My mind can wander while I knit and it is just so...so...wonderful. Right there with gardening. Good for the soul. And knittin will always be around. There will always be a need for supplies and what I want is a nice, warm, comfortable environment where other knitters and needlework lovers can sit and chat, or learn from each other. I'll have classes and also do charitable work for the needy, like knitting blankets for the homeless, hats for those with cancer and so on. I will also have local artist bring their things in to sell. I'm really jazzed about it.

Jesse, certainly knitting is the current hot craze. I was a longtime knitter
in my early life as it was easy to pickup & take with while toting children.
I have recently picked up the needles again.
What ever you do, I wish you well.
