Theresa, the OLL should work fine for both places. I have 18 inch overhangs
on my roof. In the summer, my OLL gets morning sun and full shade in the
afternoon. In the winter, the ones on the south side of the house get
blasting sun all day but the ones on the east side are all shaded except
for first thing in the morning. They all look exactly alike, uniform,
extremes don't seem to bother them. They are great plants.
