Re: Prunus Laurocerasus 'Otto Lyken'

Mine is in full sun on the west side of my house where it bakes. It's actually doing better than the one I planted in shade.

So- how much sun and heat can these laurels take?? And how much shade.
I need an informal type hedge part of which get southern exposure sun
(but only until about 1pm) and part is shaded under a tree. Would this
work for both?

I put a photo on my Yahoo page of the cherry laurel in my garden. Look
under "Garden Chat". Also I made the infamous Ilex album. Photos could be
better, but what the heck!
