Zem, how big are their trunks? I wonder how old my cedars are? The trunk of
one we recently had to take down (storm damage) must have been at least 20"
in diameter. There are larger ones on the property, but I'd have to go
measure.

The two red cedars in front of my house and the native pecan tree in my back
yard have been estimated to be about 150 years old. Needless to say they
are huge, and the cedars definitely show damage from the weather. It is
strange to believe these trees were little when there was a war going on
around here.
