Re: Deer Resisitant Plants

Thanks. I love Salvias, and I'm sure she will, too.

Salvia salvia salvia. They might nibble at it, but don't like the fragrance at all. There are literally hundreds of varieties that will grow in Mt. Pleasant (community outside of Charleston, SC) and a really good nursery there called Abide-A-While that can help her even more.

One of my former readers has moved to the low country of South Carolina - Mt. Pleasant, wherever that is - presumably zone 8 . She has a deer problem but wants a flower garden. Other than Lantana (which is a noxious weed in some parts of the south) Perovskia and maybe Rosemary, what can she grow?
