I don't think so. I can usually find onion sets at local nurseries around
here. An onion set is really a very small pre-onion (looks like a baby
onion) that will grow at the tops of a mature onion. (They root when they
fall to the ground.) I would think bare root onions would be slightly
rooted onion sets. Hmmm. Will have to check further. I'm certainly not an
onion expert as I haven't been able to eat onions for years.

Geez Louise. You'd think it would be easy to just order some onion sets.
Up until just now I could only find Onion seed and Shallot sets. But, no.
We want onion sets. so I checked Park. No - they have "bareroot" onions.
Is bareroot the same as sets?
