Re: learning/acronyms

AAaaahhhh! Reminds me of the scene from the Holy Grail- from the dude who was killed by the killer rabbit.
See- you all have Monty Python running through my head.

Ok, that is tacky but it made me laugh. That's just wrong. LOL!

If I use my initials it's AAH (I always think of aaaaaaaaahhh) so I don't use them unless it's backwards as in hodgesaa) or if I do the last name in the middle thing then it's AHA! How ridiculous.

I have been trying for years to get my nephew to change the user name he
chose, ragewithyourtool. It might have been funny when he was 16 and
just instant messenging his buddies, but he's 22 now and I think it is
just so tacky.

Marvelous! Really, businesses and institutions ought to pay more attention
to their sign-on's, acronyms and other shortcut nomenclatures. My last
sign-on at NCM was "MorganBO." That isn't something I would have
personally chosen. I don't use just my first and last initials because of
their unfortunate other, more popular meaning, but instead put my middle
initial in there so it reads "BAM." Of course, I'd never use that on the my
license plate, either. Like you said, do they think folks don't make those
acronym meaning associations with others already in existence? I have
purposely used the long form of a name to avoid a poorly thought out acronym
when speaking with customers. Why use anything that will cast an
unfavorable light needlessly.

Blessings,

Well - that could be fun. Not sure if mine even makes an acronym of anykind
though- looks more like some impossible to pronounce botanical
name: BAMAPHDNCSP. Maybe if I ever discover some new plant, that's what
I'll call it : )
