Thanks Bonnie and Maria,
Fortunately he did not have parasites other than the heartworm. I had
just watched a feature on parasitic worms in humans on animal planet and
it was just awful so I'm glad he's spared that.
After the AP show, I am never ever going to Mexico, or any any jungle, anywhere!
