Re: Mechanical troubles!


Our refigerator just crapped out.  It's only 2-3 years old!  Needless to say
we did not purchase the extended warranty.  I took it apart yesterday to see
if I could figure out what was wrong and/or fix it, but I couldn't find the
problem.  Got a repair guy in to look at it.  Turns out the motherboard is
bad.  Yep, the fridge has a motherboard.  The repair guy wants $300 to fix
it, but I found the motherboard online for $120, so I'm going to try to fix
it myself.  Hopefully I can fix it for $120, so I don't have to spend $700
on a new one.  Sheesh!
