back to weather.... can you tell what is on my mind!
I will not get the brunt
of this... but please folks, take care! Expecting 6 inches of snow but the
40mph winds are what I am worried about. Causes drifting and icy roads for me
to travel on.
Donna
Beware of the dark. A few tornadoes are possible tonight
in southern Arkansas, Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
The threat of
severe storms has already begun, with a severe thunderstorm watch for this
afternoon posted for the ArkLaTex, far eastern Texas and western Louisiana.
The risk of nasty storms is expected to increase tonight as a large-scale
storm center strengthens and churns northeastward from northern Texas.
Residents of the area at risk for severe weather tonight are urged to monitor
the situation closely using NOAA weather radio, local TV stations or The
Weather Channel.
Farther north, the same storm system will produce an area of
accumulating snow overnight from the central and northern Plains eastward
through the lower Midwest. The swath of heaviest snow overnight appears likely
from northern Missouri into the central portions of Illinois and Indiana where
as much as six to eight inches could pile up by dawn... with more to follow
tomorrow.
