Re: Snow day- Judy

Not to be too nosy Judy-but will the Drs be able to hopefully help the baby during these visits or is it strictly for monitoring? You will all be in my prayers.

Pretty nice here. 40F this morning & 48F at 6 pm. My
expected grandson has a
heart defect so prenatal visits entail a 2+ hour
drive to the nearest
cardiologist specializing in  in utero & neonatal heart
problems. Found out
today it will be twice weekly for the next month.  :-(
Haven't had a nasty
drive yet, thanks be. Mama gets to snooze on the way, but
grandma is
driving, it makes for an exhausting day.
Stay in if you can
Auralie, freezing rain or sleet is bad weather for sure.
Everyone else stay
safe too. Hope spring is coming. Buds on the grapes here
are swelling a
little. Have to get out & prune soon. Maybe this weekend.

Wow... you guys are really having a tough winter.
It is

cold cold here and a light snow falling.  My new temperature gauge

says 16

on the window and with the wind it is only suppose to feel like 1

degree.


This weekend is suppose to be nicer... I sure hope so.

We're not getting snow

- at least not yet - but that would be nicer

than what we are having.  The

temperture is 21 degrees - up from

19 when I got up - and it's sleeting

heavily. Looks like about two

inches so far.  I did make it out to feed the

birds, but it is really

not nice.  Thank goodness we don't have to go out

for anything

today - tried to think ahead and catch up  on everything

yesterday.

I can't remember ever having sleet when the temperature was


this low - it usually comes around 30 degrees.  The radio says

this may go

on until tomorrow, and then it will get colder.  Not

nice.

some major drifts. (which is rough when you are 5ft 2 inches tall!)

just throw some seed out there and hope for the best.
