Do you have the "official, handed-down" oliebollen recipe? I think my Dad
might like it. My grandmother's specialty was sugar cookies, but I have a
recollection of Oliebollen at family gatherings.

It's a dutch pastry. yeast based, fried thingy. Takes all day to make,
and once fried, lasts about 6 hours - then gets hard as a rock. I had to
fry them right after dinner - couldn't make ahead of time....
