Re: Lone Ranger

I opened my door this am and found a package of 8 crocheted doilies/hot pads. I'm sure they're from my neighbor. I shoveled their walk (corner lot) and driveway a couple of times for them. Most had little heart shapes worked into them.

Zem: I love working with the really tiny crochet hooks...my grandmother
always did these doilies so I always feel close to her whenever I am
working on one. They can be very challenging with their intricate
patterns but if you match the size of the thread to the needles, the
method of it is actually quite easy.

Blessings in Christ's mercy,

My grandmother made doilies. I still have a lot of them, and I have her
crochet needles, too. However, I can't even see the tiny hooks on
them.
She could crochet cotton thread without even looking at her
work. I don't
know how she did it.
zem
----- Original Message
