the snow we got was very wet. Easily plowed and won't blow back. Got about 5 inches.

Woke up to 6 inches of snow..... which isn't that big of a deal, but that darn wind is making it unbearable.... even the plows can't keep it off the roads. sigh, Donna Richard Apking <redfour@omni-tech.net> wrote: Just can't stand it, had to say something. Right now I'm looking out on between an inch and 8 inches of snow and yesterday's half inch of ice. Ain't just a lot of anything blooming, and the ground is just a little too hard to dig. Pam, you're a cruel woman. LOL Pam Evans wrote:Ipheions & miniature irises blooming now too. Donna, God love ya - I'd go BONKERS up there. I was hoping the forecast would be wrong for Sunday but no, it was howling wind and drizzle all day. Not much moisture but truly unpleasant to be outside. I meant to get tomato seeds started but my inside chores ate up the day so that didn't happen either. My window to get the other 3 rosebushes pruned is closing fast. We have more daffodils blooming now, and one of my apricot trees is blooming. No more lambs but we did separate out another ewe, she's gotta pop soon. Seemed to take forever! Got them from Netherland Bulb. Hopefully all will sell or I'll be potting up the leftovers. Today, some housecleaning, but I am also starting some seeds. I cleaned and moved the lightstand to the far back bedroom a month ago. time to put it to use. Today I did 40 cells each of hosta and Indigofera kirilowii. That's what we do in Feb up north.
