I was just having fun with you. I really don't mind winter that much. Just finished shoveling the driveway Again. Listened to Felder Rushing yesterdaty at H&Gshow. He mentioned the 104 degrees he gets in Miss with extreme humidity. Can't even move then. So we all have those times. I am accustomed to the winter down time which gives me a chance to prepare for the next season. It seems to me that Spring is a more exaggerated renewal here than it might be in the south. I like that.

Kitty,I am so sorry... I don't know how you last through the winters. I may remind you of this when we are burning up in July and August. Come for a visit now... this is some of our best times. Except for the wind.... tomorrow is going to be good but then we have 20-25 mile an hour wind with rain and mixed on Sunday night into Monday. We go back and forth. It was so calm... no wind... and about 70 degrees. I took my truck to get a load of free mulch on my trailer, unloaded it, put down some pre-emergent on 50% of my yard. With 2 acres it is taking quite a while to get over it all. It was a great day but I am ready to fall in bed. It is that time of the year again when I overdo when the weather is nice. Tomorrow it is suppose to be 68 but with 20+ mile an hour wind. I have to work tomorrow so that is ok then Friday I can get out again. It is suppose to be 62 and no wind. Then wind all through the weekend with chance of rain until Tuesday. I have been trying to only book appointment for me to work when the wind is blowing. I still have 4 tiny Arizona Cypress to plant and 1 Utah Juniper. I am so glad Spring is almost here.Tricia zone 6b --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.
