Hellebores, crocus, heaths, color on a few daffodils. 60 F & windy this afternoon. Pruned a couple roses & I'm done for the day thanks to a sinus infection. Started Zithromax so will feel better in time to go to work Monday. :(

I probably have 200 daffodils blooming, and a few Crocus thomasinianus, the only Crocus the squirrels leave. Also have some Galanthus and Hellebores, Corylopsis pauciflora, a few Hamamelis of various sorts. The Quince up the street is blooming, as is the old fashioned Spirea. No Forsythia yet, and my Narcissus (except for the super-early ones) are more than a month early, despite our unusually cold (for recent times) winter. No mosquitoes yet, thank goodness. I dread it when they show up. At least the Deer Fly season only lasts a couple of weeks.d----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Evans" <gardenqueen@gmail.com>To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Friday, February 29, 2008 5:08 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] Today in my gardenLovely here today but could do w/out the wind.
