I am so sorry to hear this.  My thoughts and prayers will be with your mom and
you.
 
It's going to be a rough 3 days for both of you.  My mom had her right hip
replaced on Jan 6th, so this is fresh in my mind.  My mother didn't have much
of a mind at first either due to the pain killers, which makes it very hard to
reason or make them do anything at first.

Got to TX last night.  Got called at 7am here- mom fell, they took her by
ambulancce to the hospital. Of course she broke her hip.  Surgery will be
tomorrow.  She's totally confused and in pain.  yuck....
