It was 70 in Memphis today and beautiful.  I really enjoyed this early taste of spring. However, we will have more freezing weather in store.

In Iowa, we have experienced a 80 deg span in temps this week including a record low. We had mountains of snow everywhere until yesterday when it warmed and today in the 50s much will go. Fortunately it warmed during the night eliminating the change for refreeze. Water is everywhere. Our streets are paying the price. Horrible. This week the temps drop and lots of rain.

Hope everyone is surviving the NON climate change as we hear from our leader.

Rainy and cool here in Idaho's banana belt. We haven't had any snow and very few days with freezing temperatures at our house. High mountains around us will get some snow out if this weather, but it's been warmer and drier than usual.

Sunshine, blue skies, and a high of 52° here in ne IN today. After Wednesday’s  -14°, this is a real blessing! Imagine a change of 66° in just those few short days!

I managed to get one of the pups off the plant.  It is far from simple- and not sure I did a very good job.  There are numerous more, so this one will be the test case to see if it survives (not sure I actually got the who things off or if it split toward the bottom).  It is hardening off in the garage.  We shall see how this goes.  Today in going to be an inside day.  Wet and windy here.

Congratulations on your move, Catharine! The upside of waiting a year for your move is having so much time to research gardening in Tucson.
