Hello everyone!

I’ve got fifteen lilium cultivars coming this spring.  I don’t know where I plan to put them all as I planted about a dozen this fall and even more last spring! Between the deer and the red lily beetle it’s a monumental task keeping them all alive.

I haven’t ordered much besides hellebores online.  We have some good horticultural society sales and some decent nurseries. Where did you order from Kitty?

I hardly buy anything now except the occasional cactus. My immediate back yard has big dogs, the veggie garden is for veggies, and everything else has no water. Of course there are natives...but everything I’m attracted to is bushy and would make great rattlesnake hiding places. So I refrain. Sigh. But I still love living here.

I've fallen off the mailing list for most seed and plant catalogs but someone at knitting brought in a catalog of heirloom/seedsaver varieties.

I still get Austen Roses and Murray McMurray Chickens.

My budget keeps my fantasies in check. I do have a cutleaf black sambuca to find a place for...

Oh I love lilies, Zem!

And…

I just got an email that another favorite catalog is ready online. Odyssey Perennials didn’t do a catalog last year; took a year off. But I see it’s ready for 2020 and you know he’s going to have something I’m dying to have!

You need serious therapy, but luckily you are among others with the same affliction. I have only bought 6 Black Beauty lilies, 10 double oriental lilies, and 9 hymenocallis.  However, the season is young, and I need lots more kinds of monarda.

Hi all,

I need to know when the next meeting of Plantaholics Anonymous is meeting.  We’re barely into February and I’ve been ordering plants. Ordering plants when I told myself not to get much of anything because I have some big landscape rehab to tend to this spring and summer.  But here’s the list (so far) Those with an asterisk are full flats or bulk bareroot that Ill keep some and sell off the rest.

Anyone else care to share their lists?
