gotta wonder if the cows think they are living "horrific existences." i often wonder where many of these folks were when the rest of us were listening to zoology 101 lectures on anthropomorphism.

Humane Society Cites Degradation of Media Animals

The Humane Society of the United States' hackles are up over TV shows,
magazines, and ads carrying messages it believes are anti-animal.
A "happy cows" ad campaign by the California Milk Advisory Board is among the
media messages the society has targeted in its annual Foe Paw report.
"It's positively hypocritical", the society said this week, contending that
the vast majority of cows are "milking machines" living "horrific existences."
