Rich, I did a search on Iowa Certified Arborist and bingo, I found the test 
in Iowa is  March 10 in conjunction with the 2 day ISU Shade Tree Short 
Course which occurs annually.  Another bit of knowledge I have gained from 
this list.
    Are you in a business which this certification will be applicable?
