"Moribund society"! You're getting too senile, uh, I mean
cynical. The AHS does a lot of good things. The American Gardener is an
excellent magazine; it ranks right up there with Horticulture and Fine
Gardening. AHS puts out some very good information in a variety of ways:
The A-Z and other books are first rate. I haven't been to any of the annual
meetings yet, but they
always have a great list of speakers. Etc, etc, etc. Lighten up; we like
curmudgeons, but it doesn't hurt to be kind once in a while, even to
organizations. IMO
