Re: starfruit


Ceres: Wouldn't it be nice if we could get starfruit more often here in
Iowa? It seems as if only once in a great while is it available here
locally...and then when it is, I buy as many as I think my kids will
eat. It is always a big hit when they take it sliced in their school
lunches...makes them very popular with the other kids who want to try
it...My kids and I especially love it when we combine it with
bananas...the mellower taste of the bananas seems to complement the
starfruit really well.

Jim, this is a favorite of mine particularly at xmas time.  They are not 
commonly found in our stores.
