this incredible experience.
last night i updated my browser, which is microsoft [yeah, yeah, yeah], and today when i rebooted, it refused to recognize my home page [google] or my dial-up [earthlink] or eudora. so i had to spend some aggravation time dealing with the internet octopus. grrr
