Cincinnati Flower and Garden Show

Ceres:
Sorry for taking so long to answer, just now catching up on back lists.
Our daffodil society has participated in this show many times .
It's a large show and yes, it is the only general garden show in the US
recognized by the RHS (although I would think Philadelphia's should
qualify). The woman who originally organized this show, Mary Margaret
Rochford, is from Ireland. RHS standards were very important to her.
The venue is changing this year from one of the large city parks to our
old Coney Island on the Ohio River. A lot of the booths will be
stationed around the lake I am told. That should make for a very pretty
show. There is ample parking at reasonable prices.
For uninterested spouses, the horsetrack is only about 1/4 mile away.

Anyone attend the Cincinnati Garden Show? Is it correct this is the only
US
garden show endorsed by RHS. I would be interested in what you know
about
this event.
