RE: /now bays etc.


Ok- tomorrow when it is sunny, I'm going to check what the little tiny plant
i have is.  It is still on my back porch, unplanted (well it's in a pot of
course). I actually think that it might be the true Laurus nobilis, I have a
faint recollection of the tag.
Seeing the Daphne listed below reminds me- I wanted to share my excitement
that my Daphne Odorata still has it's buds!  It has survived a week after
transplant and still looks fine!  Yeah!
And-  I have 2 daffodils blooming! I trimmed back my purple fountain grass
so I could see it better : )

It's raining here again- I just hope it gets finished by tomorrow.  I have
jack-hammering to do this weekend.

California Bay Lurel = Umbellularia californica
Greek Bay Lurel = Laurus nobilis
Dwarf Bay Luarel = Daphne mazureum, D. laureola
at leat 5 more genera with some form of the name
