Looking towards spring. I want to get my raised vegetable garden beds and
walks completed. Then, I have ordered a stone bench that we have been
having problems getting installed due to weather. I intend to place it on
a dirt bench at the lake side. Behind it, I plan to build a stone wall. I
am thinking of plants for the stone wall. The area faces west and is
actually more dry sun/shade than anything but I am hoping that the stones
in the walls will provide moisture niches. The bench has a pine and
dogwood along the edge. Cedars grow a little further down the lake path.
Because the trees nearby have more of a yellow tone, I am considering
Veronica repens 'Sunshine', xHeucherella 'Sunspot', Geranium 'Anne
Thomson', all new to me. Any suggestions?
