RE: weather/yaktrax

Bill thought they were $20.00 when he saw them at Wal-Mart, too.  However,
even $20.00 is cheaper than most medical insurance deductibles!  I have to
get some at least for momma.  Her footing is poor on normal dry surfaces,
sometimes even with a cane!  So getting her into and out of the senior care
center can be interesting and I don't want to take chances with a possible
broken hip (osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes and all!)

Gardeners Supply carries them, but they're sort of expensive.  Google around
til you find a better price, sometimes cheaper in quantity because they
don't weigh much.  Also, Bonnie mentioned they might be available at
WalMart.
