What gets me is when I order from a nursery in Missouri about 250 miles away and have to pay extra because I live just the other side of the Mississippi, but wouldn't have to if I lived in California!

Sorry, fingers running wild this morn. Shipping can certainly be a major
cost. I just rcd Roslyn Nursery and shipping west of the Mississippi, which is
me, is 45%.
