My yard is not quite ready either. I have alot of wildlife though and I
always try to keep it wildlife friendly.
My newest guest is a rabbit. Somehow he has managed to avoid Max! LOL I
saw him several times over the summer and throughout the winter, I have seen his
footprints & droppings all over the yard! I'm so psyched!

This yard is not yet ready for NWF habitat certification... although you
couldn't prove it by all the wildlife that lives here.. :) Some of my
previous homes were registered, haven't even applied for this one yet.
They approached me about committing to this stewardship program due to
my volunteer work at the nature center. Think about it before contacting
them, cause once you do, they will bug you to death till you do it. I
just didn't have the time to devote to it, still don't. Maybe when I
retire as it appears to be a worthwhile contribution to some standards.
