Hi Pam,
I'd love a copy. I want to get a houseplant or 2 that won't kill the
cats if (o.k., when) they nibble the leaves. I've had some plants closed
up in the guest bedroom and want to open that room up, so the plants
will need to be replaced with cat-friendly ones, or at least non-toxic
ones. Excellent timing - I have a couple minutes tonight to see how far
behind I am with CHAT messages and started with today's... Happy New
Year, everyone!

OHMIGOSH Melody - I just found it. It's at work and I've been tearing up
the house in vain - LOL. Oh well, that stuff needed going through
anyhow. Anyone else want a copy? They are supposed to be coming to fix
our copy machine today so it may be a day or two if the clown doesn't
show up...

Pam: I'd love a copy of that cat-poisonous plant list, please. TIA!

I have a long list of house plants toxic for cats from one of my
cat
magazines. I'd be happy to send anyone a copy that wants it (as
soon as
I find it)

My cat book recommends that cats be
given garlic cloves regularly as a
vermifuge. I have never been able
to get one to take it - though the
book claims that many cats will
eat it happily. The thing to worry about
with indoor cats is
poisonous houseplants that they might nibble. Azalea
is
one.

The only veggie I
know of that cats should never ever be given is onions.
They have
something in them that damages a cats blood cells. Garlic too.
Cats
need to have meat in their diet though, so a vegetarian cat would
not
be a good thing.
