IMs and such

We don't have IMs at work, but we do have new mail notification--and it's only different in degree. And I really like it. I really enjoy being on deadline and having some moron interrupt what I'm trying to do with some sort of trivia about scheduling conference rooms or having hired yet another day laborer. I may, one day soon, go postal when I get the next notification that PVC pipe has gone up 0.002 percent and prices are being adjusted accordingly.
