It was, all in all, a good day. Worked the first half of the day, then napped and read a new book for a bit. Dinner was all of my favorites. Cornish hen with orange marmalade glaze, rice cooked in the oven with scallions and pine nuts, stuffed mushrooms. Salad was romaine, roasted walnuts and pears with goats cheese. Nice bottle of wine. A pretty wife across the table from me who cared enough to cook the meal.
Life does not get much better.
